Anamnagar Polyclinic and Community Hospital is situated in Kathmandu, Nepal and aims to provide minimal cost healthcare to the underprivileged local population.
Our clinic utilizes both allopathic and traditional Himalayan medicine to offer dental, family planning, reproductive healthcare, orthopedic as well as ear, nose and throat (ENT) services. In addition, the clinic acts as a base for important free of charge community health awareness programs including tuberculosis direct observation therapy (DOTS) clinics, weekend health camps, as well as immunization for babies and children to protect them against preventable diseases such as polio, measles and hepatitis. We also provide mobile clinics in road trafficking areas in order to supply condoms and education materials to increase the awareness of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections.
The clinic consists of a main consultation room, pharmacy, dental office, ultrasound, x-ray and pathology lab. The community hospital, which consists of 15 beds, is situated in close proximity to the clinic.
The clinic welcomes healthcare profession volunteers such as: Doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists and therapists from abroad who are interested in collaborating with our full-time Nepalese staff. The clinic is a non-profit organization which openly accepts monetary donations to help to cover the operational costs, to purchase medications and equipment, as well as to continue to sustain free healthcare activities in the local community.
Mission
Anamnagar Polyclinic and Community Hospital will extend facilities to all the sectors of society not only within the boundary of our country but across its’ border. It will lend its expertise to the government and non government agencies whenever it is required in order to strengthen the commitment and deliverance of the said agencies.
We have various projects, such as established Nursing collage, health institution, health research foundation and upgrade hospital to establish medical collage within three years is offing. Our strategic priorities will be to provide local community based health services with an excellent quality.
